Disappointing- unable to use purchased credits

I downloaded this app as we been gifted the Disney Story Time light (made by Phillips) that works with it.

Purchased 5 credits to have more stories- however the credits did not appear on my app. I contacted the app customer service and they are aware of the issue but have no estimate of when it will be resolved- so offered me a refund (through iTunes) or offered me story time central credits instead-however storytime central does not work with the light.

I have had my money refunded through iTunes. Im disappointed that we cant obtain more stories that will work with the expensive Disney story time light. Hope Disney can fix the glitch in the app- my daughter loves it!
